For the past 16 years I have improved people and performance outcomes while working in various capacities in the educational field.  I am passionate about opening minds and creating "aha" learning moments in others that inspires action.  My interest in and pursuit of this important skill is the center point of my career, explaining my success in sales, management, leadership, and Instructional Design.  

As an Instructional Designer, my focus is on developing learning that feels easy because it's interesting, fun, and ideally has a personal or emotional connection.  I make it my mission to know the audience, use backward design to ensure the training accomplishes targeted objectives, and base my creations in sound learning theory. My ultimate goal is to facilitate deep learning that reveals itself in on-the-job performance.

I am originally from San Antonio, Texas but call Los Angeles my home and, when I'm not designing learning, you can find me at the beach with my husband and kids.
